Typical Ladin dishes in Val Badia

Game dishes and delights of authentic and fresh flavours

In the warm Alpine ambience of our dining room, the owner of the pension Ernesto will accompany you in discovering the most typical South Tyrolean and Tyrolean dishes both in a traditional as well as in a modern way. Through solely using regional and seasonal products of the best quality we are able to constantly create new and exquisite menus without neglecting the Mediterranean flavours of the Italian kitchen.

In our pension in Antermoia there's obviously also space for typical Ladin dishes. Dishes that once were a part of the local farmer's daily staple diet are now extremely appreciated by our guests. The "cajenci" (half moons filled with spinach, curd or chard), the "tutres" (filled with cabbage or spinach), dumplings and potato ravioli are just some of the typical dishes of Val Badia which we'll help you discover with the fresh flavours of authentic Ladin cuisine, including game delicacies and dishes with exquisite meat of our own production.

We use the famous Puster Valley potatoes and the milk products which come from the best local dairy producers, fresh bread from the baker in S. Vigilio, local jams and in the summer months we use lettuce, herbs and vegetables that come from our area.

Every evening we serve a menu with different courses accompanied by some fresh salad from the buffet. In addition, to accompany your dishes you have the possibility to choose between the best types of Alpine wine and beer, fresh water from the farm or water that comes from the source close to Plose mountain.

Our kitchen offers vegetarian menus and upon request we can also accommodate special dietary requirements.
